Wed. Evening 5–8pm
Class Dates: Every Wednesday for the session
Duration: Eight Weeks
Time: 5:00–8:00pm
Teacher: Sabrina
Learn the skills needed to transform a lump of clay into a bowl or cup that you can use at home! All levels are welcome. This class is held once a week for eight weeks.
While our classes are primarily taught on electric wheels, all of our teachers are skilled handbuilders and offer handbuilding instruction as needed. On the potters wheel we will teach you how to center, form shapes, trim and finish pots. And for the REALLY adventurous, we can combine wheel and handbuilding! Everyone, both wheel and handbuilders, will also learn about decorating and glazing their work.
Additional Fees
Firing fees: 5 cents per cubic inch (a mug costs about $1.80); 6 cents if any dimension is 12 inches or larger.
Benchtime: $6/hour and is for currently registered students only
Pre-Paid 10-Hour Benchtime Cards available for $50.
